Purpose and scope
Washington record systems do not place every answer in one place. Benton County Corrections maintains the local adult booking and custody system. A city police department keeps its own incident report. Washington courts keep the case history after filing, and Washington Department of Corrections maintains a separate search for people in state custody. This site brings those official starting points and their different record paths together without publishing a gallery of booking photos.
That distinction is intentional. A roster can help identify a current local custody record. It cannot establish what a court decided. A court index can identify a case, yet a court file is not the same as a jail file. Each record is best requested from the agency that created it.
Resources assembled here
The material is organized around the practical paths that Benton County residents and families encounter after an arrest or booking.
- The home page explains the County inquiry, record-request path, court lookup, DOC search, federal locators, and custody notifications.
- The city pages identify the police-report path for Kennewick, Richland, West Richland, and Prosser, while keeping County Corrections separate as the adult booking custodian.
- The Most Wanted Fugitives page explains the verified Sheriff and court routes for an individual warrant concern because no live county warrant portal was found.
- The Crime News page distinguishes local reporting from official roster, records, and court sources.
What this service cannot do
This is not a government office and has no connection to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, Benton County Corrections, any police department, Washington courts, or Washington DOC. It cannot release or hold a person, confirm a live custody status, post bond, schedule a visit, send money, file a records request, or give legal advice. Only the responsible public office can provide or confirm its own current record.
Addresses, phone numbers, office practices, record availability, and fees can change. The official source linked for the particular record should be checked before relying on a detail or contacting an agency.
Search-partner disclosure
Some pages include search boxes supplied by outside providers. A query entered in one of those tools is handled under that provider's own terms and privacy practices. If a partner tool leads to a paid signup, this site may receive a referral fee that helps support the resource. The site does not control a partner's price, search output, record coverage, or service availability.
